Your #Gospel Life tells your Gospel Story
Good Morning Church,
I hope this week has been a wonderful week as you have been recognizing all of your #GospelLife moments. It never ceases to amaze me how awesome and truly magnificent God truly is. He has always provided a way. He has always illuminated my path if I would only look. God has always been there with me, ready to empower me with his Gospel or ready to jerk me back from the brink of destruction. God has given me salvation and Jesus Christ died that I may have his grace and live the #GospelLife. I will forever be grateful and His praise “will ever be on my lips.” I am amazed this morning because I’m in love with Jesus!
This morning I am going to preach the second message out of the Galatians series on the #GospeLife titled Gospel Story. You see our #GospelLife will always tell our Gospel Story! We all have a story to tell! AMEN! Our stories can be great and wonderful stories where the hero wins and saves the world or they can be tragedies where our hero dies and we refuse to acknowledge the power of his death to impact our lives. Either way our lives are telling our story. The Apostle Paul tells the Galatians his own story testifying to the fact that his Gospel Story speaks to his radically and untimely transformation that is so amazing others were astonished and praised God because of his Gospel! The story of Paul can show us so many things and I want you to know this morning church – Our Gospel Story is our best defense of the Gospel and its power in our lives!
When our lost friends, family, and acquaintances see what the Gospel has truly done in our lives then their lives will also be impacted for the Gospel of Christ! You will tell a story! You are already telling a story. People are seeing your story and will make decisions about the kind of person you are solely based upon the story you are telling them with your life. The Apostle told his story because he knew that the best defense he had for the Gospel of Christ was the consequence of Jesus knocking him off his horse on that fateful trip to Damascus.
Listen to me church, we all have a story to tell. Certain aspects of that story will fall into three categories… 1 – Our before Christ chapter; 2 – Our conversion chapter; and 3 – Our after Christ chapter. What is your story saying about your life today? Does it speak to the glorious message and power of Grace? Or, does it speak to the disaster you have made of your life with no hope of a future? Your Gospel Story is yours and if you would see the power of the Gospel through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ then your Story can have a heroic ending praising the name of our Father in heaven.
We would love for you to come and visit with us this morning. You do not want to miss this message on the #GospelLife.
